On Thursday the 19th May 2011 year 6 Radford College celebrated their La Carnivale.
Robyn our dance instructer helped us put a dance together for each of the classes.
La Carnivale is a dance celebration where each four classes presented a different style of dance.
6JAK had Latin, 6MH had Hip Hop, 6HB had Disco and 6DG had indigenous. Year 6 had the La Carnival
because it reflects to their unit of inquiry. Year 6 performed 4 different sessions for the whole junior school.
First 6JAK performed a musical piece from the book "Kids on our Block" they made up in music lessons by using xylophones, metalaphones
and percussion instruments.Then they performed an exciting Latin dance with their amazing masks created in art
Next up was 6HB's Ben, Jack, Angus and Omer miming and it was great.
Thirdly 6MH did a rap from the book "Kids on our Block" also created in music lessons. Then they performed a terrific Hip Hop
dance from the song "Forever".
Then another small group did a fabulous dance from 6MH.
Fifthly 6DG did a musical piece from the book "Kids on our Block" then doing an exciting indigenous dance.
After, a small group from six 6JAK did some jazz dancing.
Next 6HB did another musical piece from "Kids on our Block" created in music lessons. Then they performed an extreme disco dance.
Finally a small group from 6DG did a fabulous dance.
The La Carnival was a great experience for year 6 and they loved it. Year 6 gave special thanks to the teachers
and Robyn.
The mystery of the haunted mansion

Once apon a time there was an old house on top of the highest mountain. And no body has lived there for over a hundred years, the people that used too live there were the portart family, they moved out because of this weard sound and things kept going missing.
but one after noon there was a little boy named tim he was 9 years of age and live with a family of 4 his mum, dad and 3 year old sister, kate. they were the knew family in town. Tom was a boy that got in to a lot of mistuff and decided too go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked.
Tim went too the locoal park, but there was no body there so he seen this big hill with a house that had a big black gate around it and all crows flying around and it looked realy old and falling too pieces, but tim didant care he just wanted too check it out. so he went up there. 5 minutes later tim got to a rusted, squeeky, tall gate. he was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screetching all around. Tim got thoo the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. any way tim kept on going he hadant had enough yet he walke d in and there was no furniture there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around, Tim walked up too a stair case that had all holes etc on it and walked up stairs. on his way up he seen abig sighn on the wall in green saying ''help me''

La Carnival Recount
